Why We Built This Site
Georgia gives the public broad access to court records under the Georgia Open Records Act (O.C.G.A. ยง 50-18-70 et seq.). The hard part is figuring out which Cobb office holds the file you want. The Clerk of Superior Court at 70 Haynes Street handles felony, divorce, and major civil cases. The Clerk of State Court on East Park Square runs misdemeanors, DUI cases, and lower civil filings. The Probate Court on Waddell Street handles wills, estates, and marriage licenses. The Sheriff's Adult Detention Center on County Services Parkway manages the jail roster and active warrants. Add the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Georgia Department of Public Safety for state-level files, and the picture gets crowded fast. - We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
